To make it safer on Del Playa and the surrounding streets, all cars parked on DP and the north/south streets south of Trigo must be off the street by 3:00pm on Friday, October 26th until 6am on Thursday, November 1st. Cars parked in violation will be towed. Cars will be allowed to park at the Halloween designated on campus parking lots at 12:00pm on Friday, October 26th. Although the Undergraduate Night & Weekend permit will only permits parking after 5:00pm, you DO NOT have to purchase an additional permit from the dispenser for the gap between 12:00pm and 5:00pm.

1. If your car has been towed, please stop by the Isla Vista Foot Patrol office (6504 Trigo Road in Isla Vista) with your license plate number. They can tell you which tow company has your vehicle. Or feel free to call them at (805) 681-4179.
2. UCSB undergrad students are eligible to purchase a Night/Weekend Permit valid THROUGHOUT HALLOWEEN and the rest of the entire academic year. Permits cost $52.50 each, and shipping costs $5.95. Be sure to purchase your permit by October 17, to ensure it will be mailed to you in time for Halloween!  Temporary permits will not be honored on campus during the Halloween weekend parking restriction.              Permits can be purchased online at…. http://www.tps.ucsb.edu.
3. Vehicles parked on campus without the proper permit are subject to a $300 fine and/or impound at the vehicle owner’s expense.
4. Parking spaces on campus are limited and are granted on a first come first serve basis, so purchase your permit soon!
